Pain
I knew i shoulda gotten my wisdom teeth removed awhile back, their pain had faded and I completely forgot about them, now the pain is back but even worse, it feels like somebody smacked me with the hard end of a hammer constantly. The headache has been going about 24hours now and its to the point that im almost obsessing over the pain. I dont want to do any of the things I like, like play video games, or draw because of the headache. Ive tryed Ibuprofen, advil, and asprin, Ibuprofen is the only one that even seems to remotely help, of which 2 pills will ease the pain for a couple hours at best

I got about 1 maybe 2 hours of sleep last night, I can even tell If i was asleep or just laying down trying to ignore the headache

Hopefully I can get in this weekend to get them removed, im not waiting on this. I cant stand having a 24hour migraine. I know MFF is right around the corner, im hopeing this situation doesnt prevent me from going. Im not even sure id want to go if I was going to have this kind of pain the whole time im there.

I liked it, wish the trailer hadnt given so much of it away thou

Wasnt a super epic movie, but was definantly worth a watch *shrugs*

I wanna see "The Fourth Kind" , I usually hate horror movies, but since I think its more of a thriller / suspense movie + its about aliens I wanna see it, hopefully its not all "rosweld this, and rosweld that" Id like to see a new perspective on aliens on the big screen imo

Im home from my first anime con.

Not ganna lie and say I had a super fantastic time, it was defianantly better than any ol boreing weekend though. But as con's go, I wasnt impressed. Went to a couple panel's and fursuited was about the extent of what I did. I dont know if they are all just Neko's or whatever they call it, but I think I saw more cat/fox ears and tails worn (with normal clothes) at this con than is worn at furry con's no joke

Positives +

Majority of the anime tards liked the fursuits (whether its because anime con seemed to have alot more girls for the *cute fluffy!* response, they are closet furries, or something I dont really know enough about the anime scene to judge)

The panels I went to (How to start a web comic & What not to do with a web comic) where pretty good, it wasnt just some schmuck choking and struggling thru +45minutes or an hour of crap they actually did a decent job filling the whole block with the inclusion of some Q&A

Con space's where kept fairly neat, their staff actually did a decent job of making sure ppl didnt clog the hallways like douchecunts all without being overly pushy "popo-tastic" themselves, alot of this can be attributed to the fact it wasnt overly crowded anyway, but did notice a few times where they where actually keeping lines / clogs, from happening

I think its pretty cool that about 90+ % of the con goe'ers cosplay'd, did I see some repitition yea so kinda lame there, but its still pretty cool that such a large majority of them get in costume and stay in costume all day (much easier to do than a fursuit of course since usually is just similar to regular clothes) Alot of the cosplay's I didnt have a clue who the fuck they where, Ive defianantly fallen behind the curve of keeping up-to-date with anime. I think at most I could just identify the Final fantasy guys, the TF2 guys, the nuruto-tards and ichigo or whatever from bleach , I dont know much about bleach but I know dudez with swords + those bone mask things with evil lookin eyes = Bleach dudez

I played Blublaze, or Blazeblu whatever its called, really cool game I got to pick this up

Negatives (-)

Average age of the  convention is about minus (-5 or 6) to what it is at furry con's. Not to be a jackass to anyone reading this that is less than 21, or basically in the highschool range age, but this defianantly hurt the level of coordination / organization of the convetion, not to mention it was just in general louder / alot of what I felt was really young kids running around with no supervision

Still in Nebraska , minus 5 points motherfucker *this is for the lulz*

Adult panels, yet for haveing such a younger crowd, I was a little suprised that there is more 18+ panels or P/A panels, at a anime con, than there is at furry con's. And furries are the ones with the bad rap? I already threw away the con book but - Shounen-ai (so basically yaoi without the sex?) , The dangers of 4chan (Seriously? seriously?!?!), Dating auction? (wasnt a 18+ event but, poor taste maybe? I dont know i didnt go to it). Maybe I simply dont know enough about anime-cons or the whole anime fandom /shrugs, not saying adult panels are horrific either im an adult, and would probably enjoy a 18+ furry panel if it was done right (not to crude) just seems a little strange to me

Cosplay show / maskerade/skits whatever - L2stage-layout , dont put huge subwoofers that arnt even turned on halfway out on both the left and right side of the stage completly blocking the view of anyone in the left or right seats (about 200+ ppl) seriously run 35minutes late, thats later than even furry con's and I thought furries where disorganized, have mic's that are either too low or horrendously too loud, and then the whole vision blocked by subwoofers that arnt even turned on way out on the side of the stage = FAIL -100points for being fucking retarded

Dealers room = fail, nothing but pre-packaged / manufactured anime shit, severe lack of actuall artists selling custom made stuff / art. There was a few artists but a severe lack, dealers room / artist alley was dominated by companies with manufactured shit. Also Furry fandom artists > Anime fandom artists, flat out the average skill level of the good furry artists completely decimates the anime fandom artists, im not saying this because Seeing Naruto or sasuke drawn almost identicle to how they are actually drawn in the show isnt impressive, im saying it because truely on average furry artists could draw /paint / whatever , circles around most of what I saw

This weekend im going to http://www.animenebraskon.com/ , will be my first anime convetion. I dont really stay "up-to-date" per say on anime more or less just a few anime series from time to time. Plan on playing some late night DnD and in general just cheackin out the con and panels, since I dont go to panels at furry con's I guess i could cheack out panels at a anime con lol. I'll be in Kiv all weekend

So I bought a school Tshirt =3. I know that sounds horrendously cheesy especially for my off-center aloof personality but I think for the first time in my life Im having that weird "school spirit" thing ^-^ zomglulz!! Think ill take a picture of me in the school T-shirt soon =3

As for my classes, took our first test in A&P (anatomy and physiology) today got a 64/65, missed one question because i was probably reading too fast and read the question wrong *oh well* after I handed it in my mind went to that question and I knew i missed that ONE question (kinda a *grrr damn it lol* moment)

I really like how the teachers operate at this school. Everybody is very nice, and not in the sterotypical "Spa / alternative wellness everything is  wonderfull and magical hippie with unicorn princess's *aka fluff and stuff*" kind of niceness. I very much enjoy having all of our homework assignments listed in our syllabus, meaning we can do homework well ahead of the days its assigned / due. No I havent gone an a all day binge and completed every homework assignement for both my current classes yet, but it is a possibility if I wanted to. Currently on homework im staying about 1 - 2 class days ahead on my homework. Meaning my assignment which is going to be assigned tommorw *wed* due monday is already done, as well my assignment to be assigned monday, due for next wed is also already done.

As for the massage, apparently I need more experiance massageing girls *sighs*

So ive noticed something about myself. When i read books / watch anime / movies / comics. I typically dont like the pure "good" characters nor do I like the pure "evil". When i do make a choice between then typically its the evil one I like more, but it depends on the characters personality. For me a large % of the time I always like Anti-Hero / Tragic heros. They typically have a much richer backstory, sense of personality and motivation in the characters actions, and dont leave me with a taste of "oversimplified" (read:fuckingterrible) writting in character development.

To me the typicall good vs. evil seldom feels very human or real. Even a tragic hero feels more realistic than someone who just wants to do good, perhaps due to my lack of respect for humanity for stories and books I require a reason / motivation no matter how dark it is for a characters emotions and actions. As for anti-heros I generally like them because typically their character has so much more spark and creativity than ANY other character in the book/story/comic. The level of interest and intellectual development behind these characters almost always seems more refined and thought out than the more typicall roles.

datz all =3

So I saw the movie Surrogates. And while this action / mystery, movie was for 1) to easy to figure out how it would end *about 30min into the movie* 2) if its going for action it sure lacks it. It still puts a interesting idea foward in a geniune way in the realm of science-fiction.

Without spoiling the movie the basic premise is a new technology has been developed that has changed  how the human species by a large majority live. A New robotics technology orginally designed and intended so people with disabilities and handicaps could experiance normal unhinderd human life has become widely accepted as the norm as people no longer live their lives with their normal organic body, but instead remotely through a machine exactly like them, rendering crime, accidental deaths, and many other things almost a thing of the past. The movie also touches on a acute sense of addiction as many people refuse to live without the use of their surrogate body, leaving the operator "the actual organic human" most typically in a state of neglect (why would you exercise or make  your organic body pretty if your surrogate body was perfect exactly how you wanted sort of sense).

The other interesting aspect, especially to furries imo, unless  your skull is far to dense to recognize it. Was the extreme albeit shadowed sense of anonyimity humans gained liveing their lives through their surrogate bodies (you would never know if the surrogate body of a female was a male or actuall female operator in some cases, much less exactly who they where)

Why do I think this movie slightly relates to Furry fandom in my eyes? Well not only because while I was watching the movie how unbelievably awsome I thought it would be if all the sudden the movie had a Furry Surrogate body on the screen even if only for a second lol. But also because I think what the movie touches on can be seen partly in furry. How many furries let their human bodies "go" or dont care for it enough because they imagine themselves or see themselves as something diffrent be it online or some kind of spiritual connection. As well how many furries prefer to hide behind the anonymity of their fursona instead of their actuall self (leading to a multitude of POSSIBLE problems - social inept with furs or non furs who dont share the same viewpoint, depression when they dont like their human body, anxiety of showing their true self, and possible overreliance to the fursona/anonymity of their fursona? just some possibilities imo)

No Im not disowning the fandom =p just pointing some commanalities between the movie and the fandom that I find relevant out =p Nothing against furries who want to, or believe they are furries trapped or whatever in a human body to each their own. I for one would gladly use a Furry surrogate if they exsisted, but I wouldnt use it ALL the time, as I know myself as a single invidual not how I identify how I should/want to look on the outside, but how I want to feel about myself on the inside.

School: Been going great. Feeling confident about my homework and studying so far. Learning the few hundred terms for anatomy will definantly be my hardest part, as for the massage and theory class im alot more confident in my work and quizes/tests

Practice: Gave 2 massage's today, both where complete posterior routines(back/shoulders and posterior legs), need to start timeing my massages so I know if im going to fast or slow, while still getting the entire routine done. Feeling alright about my compitency in giveing massage so far, really want to get better and identifying indication's for appropriate techniques to make the massage a little less "cookie-cutter" routine and more catered to the specific body and its pains as well as develop my own stroke methods would be nice, but perhaps im thinking to far foward over issues that may be covered later in the semester =p

Normal life: Need to get my studying done without obsessing over it so I still have time to go to the gym at night without looseing sleep (i.e: instead of obsessively studying for 3hours limit it down to 2hours yet still make sure i study all i need to so i can go to the gym with the last 1hr +/- 20min drive and resting time, to go to the gym before bedtime (not that I have one but i know im super cranky without minimum 6-7hrs sleep)

Part of tuition, and part of our daily homework of course (to practice). Got my massage table today

http://www.massagetables.com/portable-massage-table/one-massage-table-package.asp

This is the model with Heron color upholstery. the box this thing came in just BARELY fit the back of my 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipise. Had to push my seats up pretty far, my 5'11 with long leg body felt like I was driving a go-kart home with the seat so far up =p.

Now for me to get some oil =3

Well im stumped (not that hard to do), SC:BW for bnet 1.0, for my vista machine with cable modem runs worse in 2009 than I could run it in 1997-2000 when i orginally played the game on a much much much much older PC/windows OS

Ive cheacked port settings on the router all appropriate ports are open, yet it still runs like poop /facepalm

I just find it funny I can run games like counter strike, L4d and stuff online with no problems and a very low latency, but when i load up bnet 1.0 and load into a game with other (human) players the connection shits a brick

So I noticed something

If you buy a current battlecheast box of Starcraft/Broodwar inside Blizzard seems to have slipped a WoW 14day trial dvd....Isnt this kinda a mute point? you can 10 day free trial from them over and over and over again (although you cant play past level 10 I think it is) but im sure some weirdo out-there is boned hard about playing 1-10 half a billion times and never having to pay for WoW lol. Just thought it was cute (all be it predictable) that Blizzard ninja slips in a 14day trial dvd of WoW in with their boxed game from 1997-8

Why did I rebuy SC1/+BW ? because it was cheap and when SC2 comes out I wanna be more Gosu than J00! GG!!!!!!!!!!1

Im really happy to be back in school. I feel very motivated and happy to be in class and actually given alot of  homework.

Didnt do alot in class today, alot of first day junk like going over the class schedule and syllabus, a very short lecture, meeting everyone in class, but thats about it. Homework is 2 chapter's, question's over those chapter's and preparing for a Quiz on Monday

Class is 3 male's, 15 female's. A suprising amount of guy's (lulz) the picture wall of previous classes indicate usually its 1 - 2 guys per class, but 3 wow!
